Who We Are.

Needle Ninja is a multi-generational business and was created by a mother-daughter team. Together, we have 45 years of experience in sewing and needle arts.

Owner and operator Lynne Forth has been sewing for theater for the past 15 years. Throughout her career as costume designer, she’s helped hundreds of people gain new skills and refine existing ones. Many former students have gone on to open small businesses and work as professional costumers and stitchers.

As shop owner, Lynne will be teaching classes, lending a hand to students during open sewing times and helping customers choose the right supplies for their projects.

Studio supervisor and needle arts instructor Tammy van der Stelt has over 30 years of experience in needle arts and specializes in cross stitching, various types of embroidery, knitting and crocheting, as well as Norwegian Hardanger. She has organized and led needle art trips all over Europe, most recently to Norway. At Needle Ninja, Tammy will function as studio supervisor and class instructor.
